Uncompromised Al Capabilities
The ESP32-S3-BOX-3 is built around ESP32-S3, Espressif’s advanced Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 (LE) AI-enabled SoC. In addition to the chip’s integrated 512KB SRAM, the BOX-3 enhances performance with 16MB Quad SPI flash and 16MB Octal PSRAM, providing substantial memory headroom for Edge AI, multimedia processing, and real-time embedded applications.
Running on ESP-SR, Espressif’s proprietary speech-recognition framework, the BOX-3 enables a fully offline AI voice assistant. It supports far-field voice capture, continuous command recognition, wake-word interruption, and customization of more than 200 voice commands. Beyond offline capabilities, the platform can be extended into an online AI chatbot by integrating with advanced generative AI services such as OpenAI, unlocking conversational intelligence for IoT devices.
Powered by the high-performance ESP32-S3 architecture, BOX-3 delivers an out-of-the-box development environment for Edge AI and Human–Machine Interface (HMI) solutions. Its robust feature set makes it particularly attractive for Industrial IoT (IIoT) deployments, helping organizations modernize legacy control systems and align with Industry 4.0 transformation strategies.
